• ALITAX is independent — we have no affiliation with, or endorsement from, any government body or superannuation fund.
• ALITAX is a Registered Tax Agent regulated by the Tax Practitioners Board under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009.

Who ALITAX Is Not

ALITAX is not any of the following:

• The Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
• The Australian Government or any agency, department or body of the Australian Government
• A superannuation fund or trustee
• An official government portal for tax or superannuation services

ALITAX does not represent, speak on behalf of, or act as an official agent of the ATO or the Australian Government. The ATO is an independent government agency responsible for administering Australian tax laws.

Direct Application Through Government Services

Eligible individuals may submit DASP (Departing Australia Superannuation Payment) applications and tax return lodgements directly through the Australian Taxation Office at no cost:

• myTax (individual tax returns): ato.gov.au — myTax

ALITAX provides optional professional assistance. Our services are paid and are not required for individuals who are comfortable managing the process themselves.

Professional Service Fees

Processing Times

Processing times for DASP payments and tax refunds are determined solely by the Australian Taxation Office and the relevant superannuation fund. ALITAX cannot guarantee processing times or payment dates. Any timeframes mentioned on this website are indicative estimates based on typical ATO and fund processing periods, and are not a guarantee.
